CHARACTER INFORMATION
BACKGROUND: Raised by his first-generation immigrant mother from Sicily, Cross grew up with money at the forefront of his family's mind. His elder brother resents him for not having to work two jobs to help support the family whilst at school. A promising wide-receiver, his dream of a scholarship to College went away with a knee injury that ended his season.
Going to Vegas to get an education from his godfather at the Sands Hotel & Casino, Cross quickly progressed with a mix of his charm and ability to problem-solve. Getting into wrestling was against his godfather's wishes but did pay off when revealed it was a front to profit from pharmaceuticals to wrestlers on the independent circuit.
Joining PWA, Cross was quickly taken under the wing of Chris Card. The duo formed High Finance and won the Tag-Team titles in PWA twice as well as Recoba getting his first taste of singles gold.
When the PWA closed, Cross went to 'finishing school' for wrestling, in his case it was headling events on five continents and capturing an array of singles titles including the HCW Diamond title which he retains to this day.
Answering a call from Card in 2020, Cross headed to Ascension Wrestling on the XHF Network. By the time Ascension closed, Recoba had forged a reputation not just in the company but across the Network.
In 2022, Cross opened Tap Out Wrestling which has quickly become a byword for the best wrestling seen on the Network. With a roster featuring Jack Diamond and Jason Long to name just a few, it's not difficult to see why.
Later that year, Recoba joined Infinite Pro Wrestling as a founding roster member and headlined their first ever event as well as becoming the first IPW National Openweight Champion.
When IPW left the XHF Network, Recoba remained in IPW but also joined HKW and in under six months captured the HKW World Heavyweight title that has been around since 1989.

Out from the curtain steps Cross Recoba, a titanium cane with a golden lion's head handle in one hand, touching the crucifix necklace for luck with the other. The HCW Diamond title is draped over his shoulder. The crowd responds with a cavalcade of boos and jeers. Cross uses the handle of the cane to push his shag hair cut from his face, flicking his head back confidently as he smiles cockily towards the audience. He holds up the cane that has caused so much trouble in the past to an even more venomous response from the fans, and begins down the ramp still holding it aloft.
